Swatch Time! Featuring M.A.C

Tyring out a new app for my Galaxy Tablet called "blogger" so I thought it's a good time to do swatches.

This here is my new quad from M.A.C. Ok maybe not too new since I have used it. The colors from top, going clock wise are:
   Red Brick, Carbon, Bamboo and Print.

As of April 7th (in US), M.A.C launched their spring collection properly titled “Quite Cute”. Yes I know I am about a week or so late, but you know I couldn’t post until I saw, touched, played and decided. Well, yes you can easily fall in love with the pretty pastel colors that remind us of the spring we are eagerly looking for. (at least I am). I can’t help but think of the little girls in their dresses and shoes with hair ribbons to match. Pretty pinks, purples and greens [sigh…spring where are you]!!!

I entered the M.A.C store and played with the collection. In a nutshell, I loved everything except the blush. I can be quirky about things and I have to say the texture of the blush did not sit right with me. I can’t explain it but, it was not for me. April Diamond "Do's" a review!

                                  NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

Product description:NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream straddles the line between lipstick and gloss with a creamy, lustrous formula and soft matte finish that exudes a sensual glow.

Firstly when you open it, you get a craving for a cupcake, it smells like icing. The name says it all... it goes on creamy as a gloss but has a matte finish of a lipstick. Who would have thought that matte & cream could go together. It is great I do apply a little lip conditioner before applying the lip cream, (obssession) but it really doesn't affect the outcome at all.
Will I purchase again: YES

                              Maybelline FIT me Foundation

Product Description: Flawless that lets the real you come through. Fit Me Foundation, it's makeup that doesn't mess with you.

It is a good foundation for it's price. Its is easily obtainable for select skintones. Not everyone will find their shade from the colors that are available. I don't care for the "matching powder" .  This foundation is not seemlessly blendable, you have to work at blending it in. It says to use your fingers but I use my F82 from sigma. AS this is not my go-to foundation, it does give a good light coverage for those keep it simple/easy days and it is buildable!

This has become my favorite foundation brush. It help blend the foundation in, especially with conealer. The bristles are compact yet very soft and give a wonderful airbrush finish. Theyare no flimsy so they product gets moved around perfectly. I am in love. I can get under my eye and around my nose with ease.
