10 years & counting

Well it is September and I haven’t blogged in a while. This update is totally off of the subject of Health & Beauty.
August was our family's month of VACATION. During this time we go into hibernation, and semi-complete electronic diet. LOL, this means no texting, no calls, no email, no twitter, Facebook and no blogging. I think I snuck in a video on YouTube though…ssshhh.



Anyway during August we also celebrated my hubby’s birthday and our 10 yrs. wedding anniversary. YIPPIE! 10 years of being married to a wonderful man created just for me. Ok I could go on, but I will control myself. Normally we come to an agreement on what we will do to celebrate another year of marital bliss but nooo this year we totally surprised each other with gifts.


I decided to get us new wedding bands, matching wedding bands to be exact. Decorated with our names and diamonds, all fancy schmancy. But what my husband did took my breath away. He handed me a cd; but not just any cd, a personalized cd, with a song written for me about us, and our life together. Wow, it included how we met, our first date, and our children…by name. It was the story of our life thus far, put into poetry set to music. I mean can you get any more romantic and thoughtful than that.


When I say I cried like a baby… boy did I cry! It was beautiful. Ok getting emotional!

The song and music were done by an extremely gifted and talented gentleman named Thurston O’Neal and his company is Say It in a Song. The website is www.inasong.com. Ok all this talk now, I have to go play MY song!
